Post-Operative Massage
Support for your recovery after cosmetic surgery, with gentle techniques and clinical judgement.
Recovery after cosmetic surgery is a delicate phase, in which swelling, fluid retention and tissue stiffness are a normal part of the process. Post-operative massage accompanies that phase with very gentle, progressive techniques.
This is exactly where clinical training matters. Care at Glow Esthetic is led by a professional with more than 20 years in advanced aesthetics and physiotherapy and 10 years in nursing — which means knowing when to move forward, when to wait and when to refer the question back to the surgeon.
Goals of the programme
- Support in draining post-surgical swelling
- Better local circulation
- Work on tissue stiffness and adhesions
- More comfort during recovery
- Progressive care, adjusted to each stage
How it works
- Confirmation of the surgeon's approval and instructions.
- Assessment of the tissues and of the recovery stage.
- Sessions with gentle techniques of progressive intensity.
- Ongoing reassessment throughout the process.
One condition first
We only start with the surgical team's referral or approval, and within the timescales they set. Post-operative massage complements the medical recovery plan; it does not replace it or bring it forward.

Questions about Post-Operative Massage
Your surgeon decides when. Timescales vary a lot with the procedure, and we follow their instructions.
The techniques are gentle and the intensity builds gradually. Some tenderness around the operated area is expected, but the session should not be painful — if it is, we adjust.
