Hair Treatment at Glow Esthetic, Lisbon

Hair loss and thinning have very different causes — hormonal, nutritional, stress-related, genetic — so there is no single protocol that works for everyone.

We work with advanced techniques such as PRP, microneedling, exosomes and polynucleotides, chosen according to what the assessment shows. The aim is to stimulate the follicle, strengthen the root and improve cellular oxygenation of the scalp.

What hair treatments work on

  • Stimulation of the hair follicle
  • A stronger hair root
  • Better scalp oxygenation
  • Support for hair density over time
  • A protocol chosen according to the cause identified

How the programme works

  1. Assessment of the scalp and of the hair-loss pattern.
  2. A chat about your history, habits and related factors.
  3. Choice of the most suitable technique for your case.
  4. Spaced sessions following the agreed protocol.
  5. Regular reassessment of results.

An important note

Hair loss can have medical causes that need a diagnosis — from thyroid changes to nutritional deficiencies or dermatological conditions. When the assessment suggests that possibility, a medical referral is the first recommendation, and aesthetic treatment comes in as a complement.

Questions about Hair Treatment

The hair cycle is slow. The first signs usually take a few months and require sticking with the protocol. Any promise of quick results should be treated with suspicion.

With advanced follicle loss the result is limited, because the follicle is no longer active. They are most effective in early or intermediate stages, and we say so honestly at the assessment.
